Hi, I'm Anne Sutton, owner and designer for Bunny Hill Designs! I've always loved sewing and crafts. I've tried so many I can't count them all! From needlepoint, cross stitch, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, just to mention a few, but when I found applique, I knew I found my passion. I'm at peace when I'm designing applique, and for me the process is pure joy. It speaks to me in a way that no other craft form can. To live my passion is a dream come true.
I design fabric for Moda Fabrics and my first line will debut at Spring Market, May 21st, 2010! It's sweet sophistication, and so, so chic. You and your baby will love it! Designing is my second career, and the one I love most. My first career was an event planner for a Four Star hotel. After years of planning weddings, business meetings and social events I can now spend my time planning quilts! I feel so fortunate. My husband and I live in Northern California surrounded by pets; a few cats and two wonderful dogs.
I'm always busy rearranging our home, adding flea market finds, and bargains I cant resist. I love cottage style decorating mixed with a simplified shabby chic. It's this style that influences many of my designs. I've been known to bring home old windows, beds and other vintage finds waiting for a repair or two. I mix and match vintage with new, dark woods with whites, velvet with chenille. Anything goes in my decorating style. If I love it, I use it. My studio is a 400 sq. ft. loft area of our home with natural lighting, big work spaces, and collections that I love. It's the center of Bunny Hill and I spend most of my time in the studio.
