Details
This book was born when two friends decided to write a unique fabric project book, inspired by, designed and published in the North East of England. The book focuses on the Colliery village at Beamish Open Air museum. Rebuilt and set in 1913, the village is a fascinating place and the miners cottages are used as a background to photograph the projects. Fabrics used are reproductions from the late Victorian and Edwardian eras, such as those found in Arnold’s Attic. This book is interwoven with Florrie’s memories, Betty’s rhymes and some beautiful imagery. There are 20 projects in this 64 page book.
