Simple Joys of Autumn Pillow Pattern

Autumn flowers and simple piecing pair with ric rac for a delightful little autumn pillow. A great stitchery project.

Requirements:

1 fat quarter tone on tone or subtly patterned fabric for stitching background

1 fat quarter muslin (stitching backing optional)

6" squares of four light yellow fabrics

6" squares of four medium yellow/gold fabrics

1/3 yard facing fabric (can be muslin)

1 fat quarter fabric for pillow back

2 1/8 yard of ¾" ric rac

3 buttons (any size over ½")

Stuffing

Embroidery needle and hoop

Brown pigma pen

DMC embroidery floss - 725, 730, 732, 734, 781, 783, 976, 3853
