Quilt Walk around Wickham Market

Friday and Saturday 3 & 4 September 2010.
There will be quilts on display in the Church, the school, the shops and hanging amongst the trees! Do come along and enjoy this spectacular show.
Entrance ticket £4. Accompanied children free.
Proceeds will be given to benefit the village community groups.

Lynette Anderson Evening Lecture

Tuesday 24 August 7.30pm. Lynette will be speaking from her trunk show and a powerpoint presentation.
Tickets £5.00 each to include refreshments.

Christmas for Roumania

Children in Distress
Hello Quilters
Want to use up some of your stash in a worthwhile cause?
Come and join us for the day, or part of the day, (whatever you can spare) on
October 6th at Quilter’s Haven.
Karin is lending us the teaching room so that we can make items to send for sale at a Christmas Bazaar in Romania. Bring along your stash and make bags, Christmas items, toys or whatever you think will sell. Karin will generously be contributing some Christmas fabrics to use. The items will be sent to Romania and will be sold at a Christmas Bazaar by the supporters of the ‘Children in Distress’ charity in Bucharest. This will take place in NOVEMBER so we have to make them in time to be sent there.
