Each month we can send you the pattern plus pie recipe and assorted background fabrics or wadding to which you add your scrappy stash ( p&p included if you order online we will deduct the postage that is added automatically by our shopping cart)
Most of the quilts are lap size, several have the option of making a larger size quilt if desired.

You can come to the monthly class at Quilters Haven
(first Saturday from 12-4.30pm) just bring your stash to use up! Or bring your favourite fabrics!

Simple Simon Stash Pot Pie

45” x 60”
This quilt offers a unique twist on the flying geese The geese are offset from the centre square which could be a fussy cut picture fabric or a photo transfer.
Each block consists of four flying geese units pointing north, south, east and west. If Simple Simon lost his way then this quilt would not help him.

Kit includes pattern and the Angler tool to help you with the geese.

Half Square Hoedown Stash Pot Pie

56” x 74”
At first this quilt looks difficult but it is made entirely from half square triangles.. The pattern also includes multiple borders - add a few or none at all.

It’s on point setting giving it an extra dimension. This quilt is a great way of using those small pieces from your stash.

Blue Ribbon Winner Stash Pot Pie

63" x 80". This traditional quilt, the Tennessee waltz has two different blocks. The uneven numbered blocks vertically and horizontally give a lot of movement to this quilt. It looks as though it has curved seams but this is an optical illusion! Kit includes pattern and Tri Recs tool.

A Chicken in Every Pot Stash Pot Pie
68" x 86". During the great depression Herbert Hoover promised the american people that they would have a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage if he were elected President. More common than chickens and cars in the 1930’s were quilts. As people faced the economic hardship they used the mantra ‘ Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without’. The simple nine patch block was ideal for scraps. This month we send you a cotton wadding for your quilt.

Hot Pockets Stash Pot Pie
51" x 58". Made from Flying Geese units which look just like envelopes. Each unit is two blocks a positive and negative combination of two fabrics which are then set on point.
Kit includes 2¾ yards light fabrics.

Humble Pie Stash Pot Pie
48" x 64". There is nothing humble about this quilt! It’s traditional name is Exquisite and it is indeed just that. The humble name only applies because the blocks are made from a simple sew and flip technique which makes the piecing fast and easy. Kit includes 2 yards light fabrics.
