Quilt Cruise down the Rhine, 12-17 October 2008 Enjoy a memorable four day cruise on board a 4* CroissiEurope river cruiser. You will travel from London to Strasbourg by Eurostar and the TGV to board the ship and then embark upon a memorable journey along the most beautiful section on the Rhine. There will be a variety of hand sewing classes on board and the opportunity to visit some spectacular sites ashore. Northern Quilts and Patchwork Weekend Friday 5th - Monday 8th June 2009 Guide price £248 per person (twin share); £278 (single) Join Karin for a fabulous weekend in Durham enjoying a private view of a selection of the quilts in the Beamish museum, a visit to Calico Barn, Morpeth hosted by Sandra Bell, an afternoon at Alnwick Castle and an after dinner talk on 'Northern Quilts' by Lillian Hedley. The price includes 3 nights accommodation at a 1st class hotel, breakfast and dinner each day, coach transfers, admission fees, and the services of an experienced tour manager. The Beamish collection of quilts and coverlets is of national and international importance and includes provenanced quilts and coverlets dating between 1820 and 1970. Quilting in Ronda - October 2009 Pre-registration now open In 2008 we had to cancel our planned Patchwork and Quilting tour to Ronda in Spain. Sadly we did not reach our minimum number soon enough and so were 'dumped' out of the hotel. Many quilters have asked us to do the tour in 2009 and have promised to book early!!
